Introduction
Nigeria’s Federal Government has made it clear: States and Local Governments must grow their Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). With declining oil revenues, rising debt burdens, and increasing demands for infrastructure and services, fiscal autonomy is now a national priority.
This is why Hydeas Consult, in partnership with the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), is hosting the Workshop on Improving the IGR of Lagos State Local Governments.
